Q: What is Voxer Coaching?
A: Voxer Coaching is what I call my one on one private coaching! I use an app called Voxer to do the coaching. If you have not had an interaction in Voxer with me go here http://themindmechanic.net/voxer and follow the steps to download Voxer and Send Me a Message so I can give you a test drive.
Q: What does unlimited access mean?
A: Unlimited access means I do NOT keep track of the amount of audios you send me or the amount of audios I send you. I encourage you to send audios of any length to get out what you need to get out. The only caveat is the longer the audio you send the longer it will take me to respond. For me and the work we do together it IS NOT about the amount of time we interact, it's that you get the OUTCOME you are looking for...everyone get's what they want in differing amounts of time & interaction.
Q: What is the typical response time?
A: Responses will happen between 9-5pm CST and the typical response time is 1-3 days Monday-Friday excluding weekends. So if you send an audio on Friday at 8pm, the "clock" doesn't start till the following Monday. So it could take till end of day that Wednesday (which would be 5 days instead of 3). Now YOU are encouraged to send audios anytime you want, 24 hours a day Monday-Friday.
Q: What if I don't know what questions to ask?
A: You don't have to ask me a question for me to be able to help you. You need to speak about what is on your mind in the moment, so that we can work through those thoughts. Some of my BEST work is done with people when they go on what they would call "a random tangent", "rant", "ramble", "verbal diarrhea", or "mouth vomiting". I'm NOT here to judge you, I'm here to help you. I always say when I HEAR YOU, I can HELP YOU! So don't be afraid to ask me or say ANYTHING your heart desires. If I truly can't help with something I will let you know.
Q: Do audios last forever?
A: If you are on a free voxer account, audios will last for 30 days. As of creating this doc a pro account is $3.99 a month and will allow you to keep Voxer Coaching Audios as long as you are paying.
Q: Can I just type my questions?
A: After 4 years plus of using Voxer specifically for coaching I can say that for 98% of the work we do together you will be sending audio messages and NOT text. So much is lost in translation when you type something out. Even though we are not talking at the exact same time like on the phone or zoom, people feel like we are having a conversation just the same.
Q: How is Voxer different from iMessage, whats app, or messenger?
A: The MAIN functionality that is different and superior is the audio recording which is what we will primarily be using Voxer for. You can record 1 single audio that is up to 15 minutes in length. When you playback an audio you can do so at 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x speeds. You can fast forward and rewind audios. Audios are being sent through live as you are recording it and can be heard on the other end at the same time if the other person is there. It's as if you were on the phone with the person but if you had to leave you could listen to the rest of the audio at a later time. Depending on your phone and sometimes if you are on pro Voxer or not you can setup to record hands free. Ask me how? Other than that Voxer operates a lot like any other messaging app.
Q: Using Bluetooth...
A: Be careful when using Bluetooth...For example if you have Bluetooth Headphones on and you get into a car that has Bluetooth. In the middle of switching from one to the other audio typically gets lost. So make sure to stop the audio and once the Bluetooth has switched over you can start a new audio.
